A letter from our founders
A&M Homecare was founded at the beginning of 2020 with a simple but powerful vision: to provide compassionate, reliable, and personalized care that truly changes lives. What started as a small mission in Maine quickly grew into something much bigger — a commitment to raising the standard of homecare for individuals and families who deserve to feel supported, respected, and cared for like family.
In the early days, we focused on serving our local communities with heart, integrity, and dedication. We understood that quality care is about more than assistance with daily tasks — it's about building meaningful relationships, creating trust, and bringing peace of mind to families during some of life's most important moments. As our reputation spread, so did our growth. Today, A&M Homecare has become one of the largest homecare providers in Maine — a milestone that reflects the trust our clients place in us and the incredible dedication of our caregivers and team members.
A major part of that success comes from the partnership I share with Mallory — my partner in life and business. With her background in customer service and her passion for helping others, Mallory has played a vital role in shaping the culture and experience that define A&M Homecare today. Together, we've built a company where compassion comes first and every client is treated with dignity, respect, and kindness.
While we're proud of what we've accomplished in Maine, our vision reaches far beyond state lines. Our goal is to bring A&M Homecare to all 50 states and become a trusted household name in homecare across the country — while keeping the personal touch and values that built this company from day one.
At the heart of it all is our faith. We believe caregiving is more than a job — it's a calling to serve others with humility, kindness, and love, especially those who need it most. That belief shapes how we treat every client, every family, and every member of our team.
