Family Caregiver Program
Get trained, certified, and paid to care for your own family member.
Read the Arkansas guide →How we clear every Arkansas caregiver
Before a caregiver is scheduled in your home, our compliance system checks every screening and training requirement set by the Arkansas Department of Health and Arkansas Medicaid. Until every item is on file and current, that caregiver isn't cleared to work.
Criminal background checks
Arkansas State Police and FBI fingerprint checks, repeated at least every five years.
Abuse & neglect registries
Arkansas child maltreatment, adult maltreatment, and employment-clearance registries, rechecked every two years.
Certified training
A 40-hour certified personal care aide course or an active CNA or home health aide credential, plus A&M orientation that includes dementia care.
Nurse-checked skills
A registered nurse watches each caregiver perform hands-on care before their first visit, and every caregiver completes 12 hours of continuing training each year.
It doesn't stop at hiring. A supervisor visits your home at least once a year to check on your care, and every renewal date is tracked so nothing quietly lapses.
