Stefan Ryder
HR Director & Vermont Operations Manager
Stefan's journey with A&M Homecare began while he was pursuing his aviation education and advanced pilot certifications. What started as a flexible, supportive workplace quickly became something more meaningful: through his work with clients, caregivers, and families, Stefan gained a deep appreciation for the role homecare plays in helping people maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life.
Stefan completed much of his flight training at Spartan College of Aeronautics before earning his Commercial Pilot License through Maine Instrument Flight. Since joining A&M in January 2024, he has been responsible for recruiting and onboarding employees, ensuring compliance with employment requirements, employee relations, and workplace policy — and now leads the Vermont office as the company expands.
Stefan believes exceptional care begins with compassion: treating others with the kindness, respect, and understanding we'd want for ourselves. Witnessing the A&M team come alongside a client's family during an end-of-life situation reinforced for him the importance of this work.
Outside the office, Stefan is a husband and father of two boys who loves flying, fishing, hiking, and kayaking. His faith is the foundation of his personal values and professional decisions. His guiding philosophy: “Keep compassion at the forefront of everything you do.”
