Stefan’s journey with A&M Homecare began while he was pursuing his aviation education and working toward advanced pilot certifications. He was searching for a career that would support his educational goals while allowing him to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. A&M Homecare provided that opportunity.

What initially started as a flexible and supportive workplace quickly became something much more meaningful. Through his work with clients, caregivers, and families, Stefan gained a deep appreciation for the essential role homecare plays in helping individuals maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life.

He has also completed coursework toward a Business degree and plans to continue his education in the future.

His professional experience has equipped him with strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills that help him effectively support employees and oversee operations.

Serving the A&M Homecare Mission

Throughout his time with A&M Homecare, Stefan has been responsible for recruiting and onboarding new employees, ensuring compliance with employment requirements, assisting with employee relations, and helping develop effective workplace policies. He works closely with state agencies and community partners to ensure the organization continues to operate with excellence and integrity.

As A&M Homecare expands its reach, Stefan is excited to lead the Vermont office and help strengthen services for clients, families, and caregivers throughout the region.

Why Compassion Matters

Stefan believes exceptional care begins with compassion.

For him, compassionate care means treating others with the same kindness, respect, and understanding that we would want for ourselves. He believes caregivers who genuinely care about the people they serve create lasting impacts that extend far beyond daily tasks and routines.

One of the experiences that has impacted him most was witnessing the A&M Homecare team come alongside a client’s family during an end-of-life situation. Seeing caregivers provide comfort, support, and compassion during such a difficult time reinforced the importance of the work A&M Homecare performs every day.

Life Beyond the Office

When he is not working, Stefan enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons. He loves the outdoors and can often be found fishing, hiking, kayaking, or enjoying aviation-related activities. As a commercial-rated pilot, flying remains one of his greatest passions.

His faith is a central part of his life and serves as the foundation for both his personal values and professional decisions. He believes that integrity, compassion, and service should guide every interaction and relationship.

Looking Ahead

Stefan is excited about the future of A&M Homecare and the opportunity to expand services into new communities across the country. He is passionate about helping the organization continue its mission of delivering exceptional care while making a positive impact on the lives of clients, families, caregivers, and communities.

His guiding philosophy is simple:

“Keep compassion at the forefront of everything you do.”

At A&M Homecare, Stefan’s dedication, leadership, and commitment to serving others help strengthen the organization’s mission of providing compassionate, person-centered care every day.
