A Word to Our Families About This Week’s News 💙
Many of you may have seen the headlines this week — the federal government has paused over $1 billion in Medicaid payments to California and Minnesota over concerns about fraud in home care and in-home services. Billing for services never delivered. Claims filed for people who had passed away. Documentation that simply didn’t exist.
We want to speak to this directly, because when news like this breaks, it casts a shadow over an entire industry — including the thousands of caregivers who show up every single day and do this work the right way, with love and integrity.
At A&M Home Care, we want our families across Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Arkansas, and California to know exactly where we stand.
